When I first dipped my toes in the writing waters my daughter hadn’t yet entered kindergarten. That little girl is now married with a daughter of her own. During the years between, I’ve worked hard to hone my craft. Somewhere along the way I discovered my “voice” meant more than just yelling at my kid to pick up her socks or in her case, her sequin blouses (she's a former three time rodeo queen).

After being born and raised in sunny Southern California (and hanging out with Goofy at Disneyland) I now reside on a small farm in Idaho with my fun-loving husband and an assortment of critters that seems to increase on a weekly basis. Between reading, writing, bucking hay bales, chasing escaped cattle and cleaning sheep feet (you don't even want to know about wiping their noses!), I love to spend time with my family, watch a good rodeo or hockey game (Honestly, honey, I’m not checking out the players. I’m gathering research for my next book.) and RV in the scenic Idaho mountains.

I’ve been a member of the Romance Writers of America forever and will remain a member in good standing as long as they can stand me.

As for the stories I conjure up, well, they just keep coming. They got me out of trouble when I was a teenager (especially the time I wrecked my mom's new car),  let’s see if some brave editor will actually want to put them in print.
